Don’t need to see The Hunger Games to know Battle Royale is better. The Dig backs me up here.
United States Of Middle Earth of the Day: A map of the contiguous United States, drawn in the style of Lord of the Rings. (Embiggen.)
Before you point them out, the artist is aware that there are “many inconsistencies” in the map. ”Most of the time I just finished inking something in then immediately realized my mistake,” he explains. “Many curses were said.”

Sooo, for my brother to get home from California every winter, he has to cross the Rocky Misty Mountains and the Appalachian Trail Mirkwood Forest to get home to Mount Washington the Lonely Mountain. Just like The Hobbit.
Early morning stenciling before I go off to photograph a bridge in Portsmouth being taken down (in an attempt to get my name in a newspaper for photo credit). And then I’m going to take a nap forever. Then more stenciling. TO DO:
- Pot leaf on the left arm (compliment to the Gonzo Hunter symbol on the right).
- Radiohead to replace Alice Cooper and Foghat.
- Boards of Canada to replace AC/DC.
- Cock Sparrer to go into blank space above Sex Pistols.
Fuck I’m tired.
Rep. Lamar Smith isn't giving up.
Representative Lamar Smith introduced PCIP (Protecting Children from Internet Pornographers Act) in May of last year, and it passed the House Judiciary Committee in July, and it’s next step is to go into debate on the House floor. No one’s against protecting children from people that would exploit them, but the bill oversteps that purpose to allow the feds to collect IP addresses from every American citizen without warrant.
Which is bullshit. So you can fill out this form from Demand Progress to send to Congress and tell them to oppose it.
Oh, and ACTA is no good, too, so you can learn more about it here and here, and follow that last link from the Electronic Frontier Foundation to their action center (or go directly to it here) and sign pretty much everything there. Since there’s a lot more than just SOPA, PIPA, ACTA, and PCIP that’s threatening the internet. And there’s always a new bill out there trying to kill net neutrality.

More photos uploaded after a month or so (which to me feels a lot longer). I did a shoot for a friend last month, but I’m waiting for him to use them before I upload them myself, as he’s keeping the project they’re for under wraps right now. It’s musical, but that’s all I could say. Until then, there’s some of the deer on the land and of sights around town.
I wanted there to be a gif of this, and here it is. From “Deacon Stan, Jesus Man”.
